Valley View Transfer Station is open 7 days a week, 7:30 A.M. - 4 P.M., and accepts materials at the rates listed below. Please contact us for more information.

The transfer station also accepts materials for recycling.

Compost for Sale: Oakleaf Compost is a premium mix of yard debris and commercial compost from the Rogue Valley. This nutrient-rich, all-organic compost has earned the U.S. Compost Council's Seal of Testing Assurance. Each bag weighs approximately 60 pounds and contains 1.5 cubic feet. This wonderful compost costs only $4/bag!

Free Household Latex Paint Disposal

April 30, 2010 and May 1, 2010
Bring your household latex paint to the Valley View Transfer Station. A reused paint table will be provided. Residential customers only. We cannot accept paint from business customers.

Do not put non-recyclable materials in the commingle container!
Non-recyclable material contaminates the whole container and creates more garbage!

Glass:

  • Glass is collected in a separate area from other recyclable materials.
  • We accept all glass bottles
  • Do not put your glass inside plastic bags, paper bags or paper 6pack holders

Used Motor Oil:

We accept used motor oil at the transfer station.


Compact Fluorescent & Fluorescent Bulbs and Tubes

Fluorescent Light Bulbs FAQFluorescent lights contain mercury and don't belong in the trash. Please recycle them and keep mercury out of the environment.

We accept fluorescent tubes for $.30 a tube and fluorescent bulbs at $1.25 each.
