We Can Make Less Garbage
What materials are produced by your business or organization that could end up in the landfill? Observing what you purchase (packaging and amounts) and what ends up in the garbage is a good start. How much is avoidable material? (Is it possible to make different purchasing choices?) Capturing recyclables and re-usable materials reduces waste. Is everything that can be recycled ending up in the right bin? Does your business/organization have easy systems to keep commingle material (recyclables) out of the garbage?
If you generate plastic bottles, glass, aluminum or tin cans, metal/aluminum lids, mixed waste paper, magazines, catalogs, corrugated cardboard then you need a commingle cart. If you go through large amounts of the above you may need multiple commingle carts to handle the loads. Glass is collected separately in 14-gallon bins.
For short-term use and occasional events we loan our "Event Stands" for collecting plastic water bottles and aluminum cans. For long-term use we recommend you purchase the Clear Stream-Cycle MaxContainers www.ClearStreamRecycler.com, phone: (800) 872-8241.
