Residential Garbage Programs and Rates

Recology Ashland Sanitary Service Garbage Program Recology Ashland Sanitary Service covers the Ashland/Talent area. Please contact us with any questions about our programs, service areas, or rates.

Please be advised that during periods of severe weather, (ice and snow), our drivers will enter your driveway to collect your garbage at their discretion. If they cannot enter your driveway, please set your garbage out on the public road. If you cannot put your garbage out, we will collect it during your next scheduled pick-up at no additional charge.

Your trash can must be 32 gallons or less and weigh less than 65 pounds. Please place the can on the curb by 7:00 A.M. on your trash pick-up day.

Sticker Program & Pre-paid Yellow Bags
For customers who produce small amounts of trash.
Sticker Program
Pre-pay for 5 stickers at our 170 Oak St. office, attach the sticker to your full can of garbage, and set the can on the public road by 7 a.m. on your trash pick-up day.

Pre-paid Yellow Bags
Use yellow bags instead of a can. Purchase the bags at our 170 Oak St. office. Place the yellow bag (30 lb. weight limit) on the public road by 7 a.m. on your trash pick-up day.

  • Televisions, computers, cell phones, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, mercury switches
Hot Ashes or Coals, Liquids
Household Hazardous Waste
  • Paints, solvents, motor oil, cleaners, corrosives, fuel tanks - propane tanks
Recyclable Glass, Metal, Paper and Plastic
  • All recyclable materials
